Preparing the Springdale Mill site for the interpretive signs . Ed Yaglou and Dale Faraday assembled the rustic wooden benches which will be placed around the Mill Site area. Wachusett Greenways volunteers also cleaned out some of the growth from the Mill Site on Saturday August 2, 2003. Present at trail work at the Springdale Mill Historic/Interpretive Site  were Ruth Spaulding, David Kaplan, Hank Ouellette, Paul Miller (who brought the pizzas for lunch), and Ed Yaglou. Also there, after a full morning's work on the White Oak Trail, were Dale Faraday, Stan Miller and Gary Tuthill. Main accomplishments were brush cutting, preparing the slope to receive the large granite entrance sign, and assembling half-log benches.

Wachusett Greenways booth at the annual "Holden Together", Saturday August 23, 2003. The weather was perfect and many people visited our display. There was a lot of interest in the new rail trail and the WG activities. Tee and sweat shirts sold well.

A new site information sign installed at the entrance to the Springdale Mill Site next to the CM rail trail in Holden.
Sign was installed August 25, 2003
