Americorps Crew and Wachusett Greenways
Cookout at Dave Kaplan's house June 4, 2002
The Americorps Crew arrived June 3 to
work at the Springdale Mill site. The task this year is to develop path ways
for visitors as a walk through interpretive area. Wood chips were delivered
to the site and will be used on the pathways along with signs with
descriptions of the mill and it's history.
Bridge footings for the Charlotte Kaplan
Bridge in Holden were poured June 12 on the Mass Central RR abutments over the
Quinapoxet River. The bridge is scheduled
to be delivered June 20.
