Alan Lepain (A Greenways member) took on a task of repainting mile marker posts in two Rutland locations.
At left, is located near Muschopauge Road and right is located near the Charnock cut and tunnel. Alan researched the exact color, mileage number and  size that once existed on these markers. According to Alan, the Railroads upgraded their facilities around the early 1900's which included adding mile markers at every mile locations.
