New construction has begun in Oakham, MA near Muddy Pond.

                        Wachusett Greenways  reconstructed a culvert for the rail trail over a stream from

                     Muddy Pond which was previously washed out when a beaver dam broke some time ago.

               Four concrete slabs, donated by Chase Precast were leftovers from the Big Dig in Boston and will be the base for the rail trail bed over this culvert. The concrete blocks were donated by R.J. Paquette.

Bob Salvadore is the contractor.
