The Mass Central Rail Trail – Wachusett Greenways section through Rutland, Oakham and Barre is highlighted in the 2026 Mass Trails 10 featuring wonderful trails. You are invited to join Wachusett Greenways for a bike ride or walk on this section of the MCRT. Please sign up at www.wachusettgreenways.org for Saturday, October 3, 1 p.m. or for Friday, October 16, 1 p.m. Bicyclists may ride one way 8.8 miles or round trip 17.6 miles. Pedestrians may choose the walk length they prefer.
The Mass Central Rail Trail is growing along the 104+ mile corridor between Northampton and Boston. Come enjoy this treasured trail with us!
